APPEARANCE:

Sandpaw is a young cat, just out of kit hood. Fluffy fur lines his entire body making him look out-of-place, a puff-ball. He doesn't take after his mother, that's for sure, as he is a creamy orange color. He's a tabby, though, and holds dark burnt orange stripes all over him. His base coat is duo-toned, cream underneath even on the underside of his chin, legs, and tail and top.

Although he's not from BlazeClan, he fits in rather well. Sandpaw is a rather small tom, short, thin, all around small. His feet are big, but that's probably because he'll grow into them later. Still, he isn't expected to be anything spectacular in the looks department. His eyes are a typical yellow-green and he doesn't have any scars or anything since he's never had it rough.

So, this little tiny fluff-ball apprentice is all alone without a mother or father or siblings in camp? I bet you'd be expecting a giant sob story about how all of his family died, or the clan kicked his father out, or his mother died during birth, or his litter-mates caught green-cough. Well, frankly, Sandpaw only wishes that was the reasoning for his unknown origins. However, just because the clan doesn't know where he's from, doesn't mean he isn't sure. In fact, Sandpaw knows who gave birth to him and where and what it was like. He has no plans on letting them know. This'll be a bottled secret until he dies, he promises.

Sandpaw was born to an old she-cat in the City. All Sandpaw really remembers was the hustle and bustle of a giant 'monster' that was really really long. He calls it the caterpillar-monster. His mother lived in a little cracked hole inside of the tunnel, right under the tracks. This is where she gave birth and left Sandpaw on his own. She never gave him a name as she was entirely blind and was so old she couldn't hear. His father, he never knew, was a beast cat who had taken advantage of his mother. The elderly she-cat had only one kit, and had a very short lifespan ahead of her. It was then that she decided to move her kit out of the city.

Sandpaw's mother died because of old age just after they passed the city where the quaint little houses were lined up ready to accept a cute little stray kitten. Unfortunately, when she died, Sandpaw walked the wrong way, straight into the forest. He was frightened by the looks of the deep forest, the tall trees and the thick, dark, dank atmosphere and continued moving south into the barren lands of Blazeclan. It was here that the tired, weak, frail kit collapsed and was picked up by a kind medicine cat and brought in. People questioned where he came from, and who he was but the medicine cat took him in almost like her own son. She kept others from bullying and she kept the questions silent.
