APPEARANCE:

Chazz is a rather large cat, however, not as large as his older brother, Sabrefang. His build is more lean then it is muscular, but don't let that fool you, as Chazz is a cat worth reckoning with. He has large paws, and black hooked claws that are unsheathed at all times (he cannot retract them due to a birth defect). His entire body moves with grace, power, agility, and self confidence, much like his brother however, this rarely reflects on how Chazz feels deep down.

In fact, the only physical appearance that reflects about this tom's personality is in his eyes: they are the only window into his soul. Oftentimes they are clouded with the flames of fury that are seemingly endless within his heart. Of course, not many notice Chazz's blue orbs, because they are often hidden beneath the long tufts of fur coming down from the top of his head, almost like a mohawk of sorts. This is perhaps the strangest and most distinct feature of the Black Thunder, and the reason he chose his name. The hair atop his skull is wild, and zigzags like a bolt of lightning.

However, the black on his pelt does not cover him completely. Instead, it only stays on him like a tuxedo, as his underbelly is completely devoid of color, and instead takes the shade of snow. Chazz is extremely picky about keeping his fur clean, so there is almost never any dirt on the underside of his belly, making him seem like he is glowing in the correct light.

ACTING:

In the beginning of his life, Chazz was a selfish cat who believed himself to be the most elite in the clan. This behavior stemmed completely from his two elder brothers, Sabrefang and the soon to be deceased, Thornpelt. Being the youngest of two ambitious brothers, he grew up being pressured to rise to the top of the Clan, as it was a dream of Thornpelt's to rule OwlClan with an iron claw with his two brothers.

This all ended rather quickly, as Chazz was taken captive by twolegs while he was still a young cat. Furious, he refused to open up to the humans who adopted him as a pet, and constantly looked for ways back into the outside world. This experience was the first time Chazz learned to close off his emotions to others.

Eventually, he managed to escape, but found himself lost in the world of street cats. Fearful and alone, Chazz set off in the hopes that he would find the forest he once lived. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Instead, The Black Thunder ran into a group of alley cats. He was taken in by them after much begging, and from then on, Chazz learned the rules of the city.

Fighting and survival became a key part of Chazz's life, and before he knew it, the life of OwlClan became a distant memory. He became a stray known for enjoying the thrill of the fight, and was wilder then a storm. From this, Chazz rose to the top of his group of cats, and was titled "Chazz, The Black Thunder".

However, this name stirred a memory within him... one of his life a long while back. Suddenly, his will to make his brothers proud of him returned, and the long gone pressure of their gaze returned to him even though he knew he was far. Conflicted, Chazz became more irritable then ever, and set off on his own as a Loner.

After wandering countless wildernesses, city streets, and places a cat couldn't even dream of, he found OwlClan again. There was protest from some of the members about letting an outsider come back into the Clan, but OwlStar held strong on the decision to take him back in. Soon, Chazz, (who demands to be called Chazz rather than Black Thunder, his Warrior name), met up with his only surviving older brother: Sabrefang. Sabrefang explained to him that soon after he had left, Thornpelt had gone into a fit and ran to his death in the strong currents of FloodClan's rivers.

Chazz, however, did not believe that for a moment. Out of the three of them, it was Thornpelt who he remembered being the most calm and cunning. Since then, he has kept a close eye on Sabrefang, and a truth has become evident to him: Sabrefang is a murderer. He killed Thornpelt, and quite possibly is the one responsible for having him kidnapped back in the day. But how can he accuse his own brother of such a thing? Everyone trusts Sabrefang and not him... and day by day, Chazz can see his brother's bloodlust growing....
